Hi there. I’m Nick Leonti. If you’re reading this blog you are either a friend, a traveler or a member of travel industry. It’s possible that you’re all three, but that’s doubtful because I only have like two friends… or at least that was the case before I started this sweet blog.

Anyhow, about me. I grew up way out in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains where my dad sold auto parts and my mom worked at the severely underfunded public library. I spent most of my time losing little league games and playing in the dirt….which was fine by me. Then I grew up, went to school, and moved to “the big city” which is what Sacramento is for a kid from Placerville.

These days, I am the Director of Tourism at Visit Sacramento which is a confusing job title and one I’ll talk all about in another post. For now, just know that that means I try to bring visitors to California’s beautiful capital city. Since I’m a Sacramento super-fan, it’s the perfect job for me.

I’m also a super-fan of a little mystery program called Murder, She Wrote which is why I demanded that my blog be called ‘Tourism, He Wrote” even though it’s confusing and everybody except for me hates it.
